OLAYA METRO STATION

Olaya Metro Station is a competition-winning submission that envisioned a grand public park above the station. The design concept proposed links that provide access to the Roof Garden. Large cone apertures are formed where lifts and escalators cross the roof structures. A spherical opening cuts a void down to the lowest platform. Inside, passengers circulate and have a visual reference of the two crossing metro lines. Experience with Gerber Architekten international.
