Vera contributed significantly to the formation of CRAD and continues to play an essential part in shaping and developing the practice. She brings to CRAD an unprecedented level of knowledge and experience in the design and execution of projects around the world. Vera trained as an architect in Lisbon, where she was awarded First-Class Honours for her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Later, she completed post-graduate studies in public policies.

Vera has worked with renowned architectural practices in London, Lisbon, and Barcelona on award-winning architectural projects. Among some of these projects are the competition-winning Environmental and Urban Regeneration of Cabedelo’s Riverfront in Portugal at Barbini Architects and Science Museum of the University of Coimbra, a collaborative project between ARX Architects, Barbini Architects, and MXT Studio.

In addition, Vera has worked at the studios of Allies and Morrison Architects, Barbini Architects, and Carlos Ferrater OAB and contributed to projects such as Manchester Media & Arts University in the UK, Firmdale Hotel Headquarters in the UK, Cascais Historic Centre regeneration in Portugal, Headquarters of Group Azahar in Spain, Corporate Headquarters for GISA and Ferrocarriles de Generalitat de Catalunya in Spain, Theatre of Music Centre in Spain, and numerous other masterplans, residential projects, and commercial projects.
